As an alarm operator, you will work within the unit Safety and Security Center (TSC) located at the Rescue Service in Boden. WORK TASKS The work is mainly done at an operator table using technical support systems where you as an operator receive and forward incoming alarms and daily calls. Will also include other tasks that are handled within the unit, which means administrative tasks, tasks within the alarm organization where we, among other things, receive and work with the installation and replacement of welfare alarms within the municipality. The service is a permanent position and involves work varied during the day, night and weekends. The work takes place in 3 shifts during all days of the year. If you become relevant for employment, you will undergo health checks according to AFS on night work. Internal training period is required before you can start your work as an alarm operator. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: - Have a full secondary education. - Have good experience of general computer systems management but also find it easy to learn new systems and are comfortable working in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint). - Speaks and writes Swedish fluently and feels comfortable communicating in English. - Able to work irregular hours. - Have a driving license at least *B. It is an advantage if you have: - Previous experience working in a security or surveillance service or alarm center. - Similar roles where you have worked with a telephone and a computer as a work tool and worked in front of several monitors. - Previous experience in shift work (day/night/weekend). - Experience working in different CCTV systems. Personal competences: To be successful in this role, you need to be service-oriented and have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good relationships in your work. You are responsible, structured and can work both independently and with others. The work requires you to have good analytical skills, be able to prioritize and make decisions even under time pressure. You are stress-resistant, have good simultaneity skills and thrive in a multi-tasking environment. We also look for you to be practical and handy.
