Then you can read more here: www.boden.se/jobbaiboden The Public Works Administration shall with a forward-looking approach make available, maintain, manage and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure and transport. The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. The main task of the Property Department is to provide cost-effective and operationally efficient premises for municipal activities on behalf of the Community Planning Board. The department is to provide the municipal operations with service in real estate matters and coordinate the municipality's premises planning. In addition, the department offers services in the form of cleaning and janitorial services to other municipal administrations. The Operations Department carries out property maintenance in and around the municipality's properties in the form of repairs, external cleaning, assists the activities with internal chores in the form of moving benches and installing furnishings, etc. We are an organization with short decision-making paths. One of our employees is retiring, so we are looking for a new caretaker on a permanent position. We also have an employee who will go on parental leave and therefore we are also looking for a substitute caretaker. There are great opportunities for a permanent position after the temporary position. WORK TASKS As a caretaker, you work with property maintenance inside and outside the buildings, mainly schools and preschools but also in administrative buildings and offices as well as industrial buildings, etc. You will carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, snow clearing and litter picking etc. You will work with the help of written work orders and your own eye for the needs of the buildings and the business. As a caretaker, you will be the face of the business and tenants and thus the closest representative of the property department. QUALIFICATIONS Secondary education and computer skills are required. Training as a caretaker and several years' experience of equivalent tasks would be an advantage. Experience of technical installation work such as electricity, pipes, ventilation and cooling would also be an advantage. Driving license with B license is a requirement.
