Your role as a specialist nursing assistant includes: • Supervising and supporting the nursing staff in various care situations, including by preventing and alleviating BPSD symptoms. • As a BPSD administrator, you will provide support and collaborate with other administrators at the facility on BPSD planning, action plans, and care plans. • Serving as a support to the contact person, particularly regarding implementation plans. • You serve as support to the care prevention representatives in their roles; we operate based on a preventive approach. We work according to IBIC and are currently developing our documentation. You serve as support to our documentation representatives and to the nursing staff. You will lead and allocate morning and afternoon shifts based on a user-centered approach and work closely with the unit managers at the facility. You are a strong advocate for your profession as a specialized nursing assistant in the municipality of Boden. You will work closely with and receive support from the Development Supervisor and the Dementia Care Developer. You will receive regular professional nursing supervision in a group setting alongside other specialist nursing assistants, led by a certified professional supervisor. You will also receive training tailored to your specific needs. QUALIFICATIONS A specialist nursing assistant is a trained nursing assistant with advanced professional expertise for specialized work with people with dementia or older adults with mental health conditions.
