The Community Development Department consists of the following divisions: Physical Planning; Water, Sewer, and Waste; Streets, Parks, and Forests; and Real Estate, Environment, and Construction. The Projects and Investments Unit manages and coordinates the department’s new construction and reinvestment projects. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a Project Manager, you will be involved in the entire construction process and be responsible for the ongoing monitoring of time, finances, the work environment, and more in projects—from the preliminary study and design through to commissioning, handover, and during the warranty period. You will work closely with the departments within the Community Development Administration, as well as with other administrative units and municipal companies. You will also serve as a support to both the administrative organization and other project managers within your area of expertise. For example, you will be responsible for defining requirements and contracting consultant and contractor services; you will act as a representative and point of contact for the Municipality of Boden in dealings with government agencies and other stakeholders; and you will serve as an internal point of contact. As a project manager, you are the one who drives the project forward; you have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills when it comes to managing the project team. QUALIFICATIONS As a person, you are driven, organized, and down-to-earth. You enjoy helping people grow, have the ability to see the big picture, and think strategically about development issues.
