The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. JOB DUTIES The meals department prioritizes the purchase of local, organic and Swedish food that contributes to sustainable meals and long-term good living habits. The meal should be good, safe, nutritious, integrated, sustainable and pleasant so that the diner can feel satisfied with the food and the treatment. We are now looking for a chef who has all of our kitchens in Boden municipality as their workplace. You will be based at Björken's kitchen and will go from there to the kitchen that needs your help for the day. The tasks vary depending on the kitchen in question. From working alone in one kitchen with all the responsibility that entails, to being one of several in the next kitchen. We operate in both preschool, school and elderly care kitchens. If necessary, you may be required to work in two different kitchens on the same day. A number of kitchens have cleaning assignments in adjacent premises to achieve full-time. The tasks are all common in a kitchen and include cooking, salad preparation, washing up, cleaning, tidying up, administrative work, portion statistics, ordering food, etc. The tasks include following the workplace's procedures and self-monitoring and active participation in the workplace's development areas. We work mainly Monday Friday daytime 38.25 h / v but weekend work may occur. QUALIFICATIONS Work experience requirements: Experience is required. We are looking for you who are a trained chef, or have other training combined with experience of working in a kitchen, which the employer considers equivalent. You enjoy working in different workplaces with food and people, have a good attitude and are service-oriented. We would like you to have experience with special diets. We are looking for you who want to be involved in the development of the business and strive for high quality and good service. You have the guest in focus and see opportunities instead of limitations. You have the ability to plan and prioritize work in the kitchen and follow kitchen routines. You have good computer skills, which are needed in daily work and when planning and ordering food. Driving license B and access to own car are required for this position. Good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing, is a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. OTHER INFORMATION Please attach certificates of education and/or diplomas.
