WORK TASKS We are looking for you who want to work as an assistant principal together with Linda, the Central Preschool Area's principal and be responsible for developing the preschools in the area. On delegation from the principal, you will have staff responsibility, work with budget issues, scheduling for the preschools and OB childcare, etc. The position also includes shared responsibility for OB childcare during evenings/nights/weekends. The work is done in close cooperation and close dialog with the principal. The Central Preschool Area is also supported by a preschool coordinator who works with scheduling, supervision and skills development. The tasks of an assistant principal are many, challenging, stimulating, varied and important. You have the chance to influence and develop the future of the growing generation. You work in a team with the principal where you together run and develop the preschools in the principal's area. There is access to administrative support, pupil health and a central reception unit for newly arrived pupils. At central level, there is support from HR, finance, IT and the office. As an assistant principal, you will be a good ambassador for the preschool, the Labor Market and Education Administration and for Boden Municipality. To be relevant as an assistant principal, you are prepared to start the principal program and fully assume a school management assignment if the employer finds it appropriate. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a preschool teacher's degree or teacher's degree with a few years of experience in the profession. Previous experience of working as a school leader is an advantage. You see collaboration as a prerequisite for success and are humble in the face of the complex issues a school leader faces. You are passionate about development and quality in preschool and are grounded in current research. In your leadership, we want you to be responsive and able to create good relationships and to have a positive view of students. You work in a structured way and have good experience of documentation and follow-up. You have adequate skills in digital development work, to absorb new systems and use them in your work. You see the importance of focus and a long-term approach to your work. You can quickly adapt and deal with changes and changing conditions that arise in the work. You remain effective and motivated despite setbacks and act with high integrity and loyalty in your leadership role. You should be prepared to work certain evenings and hours according to the needs of the business. You will need to have a driving license and access to a car to transport you between the preschools.
