We have overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality’s residents. The department is also responsible for the Culture School, food services, and central student health services. JOB DUTIES As part of the implementation of a new school administration platform, the department needs to be strengthened with an education administrator. We are looking for someone who, with a structured approach, a service-oriented mindset, and dedication, wants to help strengthen the administrative support for our operations. As an education administrator, you will play a central role in our operations and work closely with school leadership, staff, and parents. You will help ensure order, quality, and excellent service in an organization where many processes must work well together. Your responsibilities will include, among other things, student administration, registration, reporting in the operational system, and preparing documentation and summaries for other government agencies. You will be part of a team of education administrators working across various types of schools, from preschool to adult education. Together, you will contribute to a well-functioning organization and create favorable conditions for children’s and students’ learning and development. This is a temporary position intended to strengthen operations during the period when the new school administration platform is being introduced and established. You will have the opportunity to participate in one of the administration’s development initiatives and help build and develop the administrative work methods and processes required by the new platform. Fixed-term employment through June 30, 2027 QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for candidates who have completed high school. It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education in administration or experience with specialized administrative work, particularly in child and student administration and operational support systems such as Schoolsoft and Haldor. You have strong digital skills and the ability to express yourself well, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish, and can communicate clearly and professionally with various audiences. As a person, you are organized, meticulous, and responsible, with a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently even when the pace is fast. You thrive in a role where quality, service, and order are central to the job. You collaborate easily with others and contribute to positive relationships through a professional, attentive, and accommodating approach. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
