You will lead a Finance Department with centralized processes and operations organized in four different units. Your mission is to contribute to long-term sustainable finances and efficient operations for the municipality as a whole, and to provide qualified support to both municipal management and politics. You have full responsibility for the department's own operations, budget and staff. As Finance Manager, you will work with, among other things: - Ensuring effective financial management, financial control, public procurement and target management that provides maximum benefit to the citizens of the municipality. - Managing and developing the department's processes and contributing to municipality-wide development work. - Provide strategic support to management and administrations and contribute with financial analyses and decision-making data. - Ensure that cases are handled with high quality, transparency and in line with political objectives. - Have many contacts and participate in various forms of cooperation, both internally and externally. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for people who have: - A Master's degree in Business Administration or other academic degree with a specialization in economics. Alternatively, you have other academic training combined with professional experience relevant to the position - Several years of experience in advanced financial work in a policy-driven organization - Experience in leadership and driving change or development - Good communication skills and used to working closely with both operations and management - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written You are a confident and experienced leader who brings with you a broad and deep competence from previous roles. You are used to working with a holistic perspective where you successfully combine strategic thinking with operational responsibility. You see the long-term consequences of what different proposals can bring to both finances and operations. Through your leadership, you create commitment and participation, and you have a strong ability to steer towards common goals. You are driven to make a difference and to lead change processes with clarity and focus.
