You will lead a Finance Department with centralized processes and operations organized in four different units. Your mission is to contribute to long-term sustainable finances and efficient operations for the municipality as a whole, and to provide qualified support to both municipal management and politics. You have full responsibility for the department's own operations, budget and staff. As Finance Manager, you will work with, among other things: - Ensuring effective financial management, financial control, public procurement and target management that provides maximum benefit to the citizens of the municipality. - Managing and developing the department's processes and contributing to municipality-wide development work. - Provide strategic support to management and administrations and contribute with financial analyses and decision-making data. - Ensure that cases are handled with high quality, transparency and in line with political objectives. - Have many contacts and participate in various forms of cooperation, both internally and externally. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for people who have: - A Master's degree in Business Administration or other academic degree with a specialization in economics.
