The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. As a seasonal forestry worker you make a difference! The Parks Unit works with the operation, maintenance and development of the municipality's parks, green areas, urban forests and playgrounds. We want to create attractive outdoor environments for citizens and visitors. In your work, you contribute to green, well-kept outdoor environments where people enjoy themselves and socialize. WORK TASKS The work consists largely of snow clearing in the urban forest. We also carry out some thinning and under-clearing in the production forest. Felling of individual trees is carried out and other tasks in green space maintenance such as grass clearing may also occur. We work outdoors in all weathers and the work is physically demanding. You will work in teams where you plan and are responsible for ensuring that assigned work is carried out and then reported back. We offer a varied job and would like you to contribute to the development of the business. Supervision of trainees is included in the service. Working hours: 7-16 Mon-Fri Employment period 4 months, extension may be possible QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are interested in forestry work and who have an upper secondary education. You are a responsible person who can work both independently and with others. You can follow instructions and work in an efficient and structured manner. The jobs you carry out are well planned, of the right quality and completed on time. You have a good sense of service and communicate well both within your team and with people you meet in the city. You are physically fit and enjoy physically demanding work.
