The Labor Market and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality’s residents. The department is also responsible for the Culture School and school meal services, and carries out tasks related to the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool, elementary school, special education elementary school, high school, and special education high school. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a TEMPORARY STAFF MEMBER with us at Work & Employment (AoS), with the opportunity to complete an orientation before you start working full-time. For people who have been approved for daily activities or employment programs, we’re the place you come to during the day—we manage 11 different workplaces and offer opportunities for corporate placements within the municipality of Boden. We also support individuals with other needs in taking steps toward work or studies. Our program operates during the day and offers a flexible range of work tasks, activities, studies, and employment opportunities characterized by accessibility for all participants. In your role as a group leader, you will plan, supervise, coach, and motivate participants in their daily tasks using educational methods. You are responsible for ensuring that participants’ plans are up-to-date and aimed at strengthening their self-determination and belief in their own abilities. You will be part of a team of dedicated colleagues and receive close support from the unit manager. We strive to ensure that every individual reaches 100% of their own potential and is able to participate in the community. Our program offers each individual stimulation, personal growth, a sense of purpose, and a sense of community in accordance with their wishes. An overarching goal is also to develop each individual’s opportunities for employment in the short or long term, which may include both habilitation-focused activities and more production-oriented tasks. We base our planning and work on the individual’s needs and circumstances to help them take steps in their own development and strengthen their ability to shape their own lives. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a confident, positive, and proactive person who sees opportunities even in the smallest things. In the role of group leader, a respectful and caring approach is of the utmost importance, as is the willingness to build relationships with the individuals we work with. You will meet a wide range of people facing various challenges in their daily lives. The disabilities of those who primarily participate in our programs range from neuropsychiatric disabilities (autism, ADHD, etc.) to intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, and other disabilities. You’ll need the ability to quickly adapt your approach and work methods, as individuals’ needs can vary greatly. Social documentation and some caregiving are part of the daily work. We believe you enjoy working TOGETHER as part of a team and contribute your experience and expertise to the development of our organization. You have the ability to review, analyze, and evaluate your own work, thereby contributing to high-quality care and recognizing when expertise beyond your own is needed. Requirements: - A diploma or final certificate from the Health and Social Care Program, or a diploma or final certificate from the Child and Leisure Program with a specialization in social work, or the equivalent.
