Then you can read more here: www.boden.se/jobbaiboden We are looking for a committed and driven Head of Unit for Leisure and Youth who wants to lead and develop our work to create a meaningful leisure time for the municipality's residents. WORK TASKS As Head of Unit for Leisure and Youth, you have overall responsibility for developing, planning and following up activities that stimulate active participation in cultural, sports and leisure activities for the municipality's residents, with a particular focus on children and young people. You will lead a team of staff working in sports facilities, meeting places and the leisure bank. You will be part of the Culture, Leisure and Youth management team and report to the Head of Department. The role also involves collaboration with schools, civil society and the business community. Your duties will partly consist of: - Managing and developing leisure activities in accordance with the municipality's goals and values. - Responsible for budget, staff, work environment and quality monitoring. - Strengthen young people's influence and participation in the activities. - Initiate and run development projects and collaborations. - Contribute to a safe and pleasant working environment that promotes cooperation, inclusion and innovation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for people who have: - A university degree in, for example, social work, pedagogy, culture, leisure or another relevant field that the employer considers equivalent. Alternatively, you have other education in combination with professional experience relevant to the position. - You have experience in managing staff and activities, preferably with a focus on youth and leisure activities. - Good administrative skills and used to working with follow-up and business development. - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have: - Experience in a politically governed organization. - Experience of working with youth influence, inclusion or cross-sectoral collaboration. - Experience in the voluntary/non-profit sector. - Experience in operations in the field of sports facilities.
