Welcome to the Employment and Education Administration in Boden municipality!
The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. JOB DUTIES
You are one of two managers who together and in collaboration lead JobbCenter, Boden municipality's labor market unit. You will be responsible for staff, operations and finances, with business development as a key focus. You have a special responsibility for collaboration within the coordination association we belong to, and you will be a driving force in the work to implement the activity requirement that will come in 2026. In the assignment to work for a broader labor supply, you will drive further efforts to promote that more workplaces receive people in job training and employment. You will also be part of a network to promote work-integrating social enterprises. Searching for and running projects in skills provision is also part of your duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for people who:
-Have a relevant academic degree in social work, social sciences or other field deemed equivalent by the employer.
-Have documented management experience of at least two years, where you have been responsible for personnel, finance and business development. Experience from a politically governed organization is an advantage, as it gives you an understanding of governance, decision-making processes and collaboration in a public context.
-Possess good digital skills. You need to be confident in using digital tools, systems and platforms for planning, monitoring, communication and development of operations.
-You are a communicative and inspiring leader who creates participation and commitment. You motivate, delegate and provide support for employee development. You have a good ability to communicate internally and externally, create clear messages, build trust and promote cooperation.
-You have strategic ability and structure. You plan, organize and follow up activities in a way that creates clarity and achieves set goals. You are used to making decisions, both independently and in collaboration with others.
-You build good relationships and find it easy to cooperate with different actors, both internally and externally. You enjoy working in networks and see the value of collaboration to achieve common goals.
We are looking for a person who is solution-oriented, has good hospitality skills and sees opportunities in change. Your ability to combine strategic thinking with operational leadership is crucial for success in this role.
