The Human Resources Department is a centralized function with 24 employees divided into a payroll unit and a personnel unit. The HR unit consists of 11 staff, including 4 strategists with different specializations, 6 personnel consultants and a personnel officer. The role of the Human Resources Unit is to lead, develop and coordinate employer issues, and to support managers in fulfilling their employer responsibilities. The HR department shall contribute to ensuring that the operations have the best conditions for achieving set goals with satisfied citizens and employees and for strengthening Boden municipality's employer brand.

JOB DESCRIPTION.
Do you want to work with employment law in an organization where your cutting-edge knowledge and strategic mission in employer issues really make a difference? We are now looking for a Human Resources Strategist with a focus on employment law.
As our new HR strategist, you will, among other things, provide qualified labor law support to managers and personnel consultants in personnel matters, you are responsible for interpretations of law and agreements.
All HR strategists, together with the HR manager, are tasked with running, managing and developing the municipality's HR processes. The strategists provide strategic support to municipal management and political bodies on employer issues.
Furthermore, you work strategically with the AID structure, position structure and job evaluation and work closely with the payroll manager and payroll specialist on issues relating to working hours. You will also actively contribute to the development, training and follow-up of the organization's HR processes and policies.
In this role, you are also responsible for central redeployment investigations and work with contractual and labor law issues related to crisis situations and increased readiness. You have a role in the municipality's work with whistleblowing cases.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You have an academic degree with a focus on human resources/human resources
- You have several years of experience in both operational and strategic HR work in a large organization.
- You have knowledge and experience of labor law, regulations and collective agreements
- You have experience of negotiations and trade union cooperation from a larger organization
- It is an advantage if you have experience of collective agreements in municipal operations
To succeed in the role of HR strategist, you need to be structured and have a good ability to plan, prioritize and drive your work forward. Your ability to express yourself both orally and in writing needs to be very good. The role involves many different types of collaboration, which requires good communication skills and the ability to create and maintain good relationships.
You are a confident person who understands the different roles and responsibilities of the organization. You also feel comfortable leading training and information sessions. Furthermore, you have good analytical skills and can contribute to problem solving where different perspectives together form a holistic perspective.
