The rescue service in Boden is looking for a driven Fire Inspector / Fire Engineer who wants to help shape our business in a time of exciting social change. We are a strong team that collaborates with 19 municipalities within Räddningssamverkan Nord, from Kiruna in the north to Nordmaling in the south, to create safe and effective rescue operations no matter where the accident occurs. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Fire Inspector/Fire Engineer with us, you will have a dynamic and important role where you will be the spider in the web of our rescue operations. You will be part of the operational development to make the rescue service in Boden better. Your role includes both business intelligence and quality assurance of operations and exercises for both full-time and RIB. And yes, it gets more exciting, you are also part of the response leader preparedness that will be built up, which means that during your emergency shifts you are ready to lead operations in our area. In addition, opportunities will open up for you to take an overall leadership role within our joint rescue management system in the future. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: - Fire engineer degree with postgraduate training in rescue services (RUB) or equivalent experience as a fire inspector and have training in rescue management - Experience in operational work and work management - B driving license (required) - Good communication skills - you will have a key role in our projects and teams Who are you?
