WORK TASKS
The role of System Developer is an important piece of the puzzle in the municipality's work on digitalization and development with the help of IT. You will be part of the IT department's Technology and Development Unit. In the unit, you will work with colleagues who are system developers, business developers, system specialists and IT management managers.
You will also act as a resource to the IT department's business support unit. The business support unit has a number of teams that support the management and development of the municipality's business systems.
You will work closely with the business to build relationships and networks that strengthen and support the needs of the business and identify any problems and issues that underpin the need for system development. You participate and support in projects, feasibility studies, procurements and in the implementation and decommissioning of IT support.
In the role of system developer, you develop smart, practical solutions that help streamline administrative processes based on the priority needs of the business. You will spend a lot of your time developing the municipality's own systems and platforms linked to, for example:
- Application development
- E-services
- Integrations
- Automation services
You will work with development, requirements definition and requirements gathering as well as with troubleshooting and correction of developed functionality in various IT systems and applications
QUALIFICATIONS
In the role of system developer you have:
- Relevant academic degree with a specialization in systems science/digital transformation or other equivalent qualification. Equivalent skills may also have been acquired through, for example, vocational college, courses, certifications or documented work experience in the field, preferably from the public sector.
- Broad experience of the role of system developer and thus you have good knowledge of system development.
- Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
You have at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- HTML, CSS and Javascript
- C#, .Net, and/or Java
- Sharepoint, Powershell, MS Graph and Entra ID
- SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience in:
- Domino design, xPages, document-based NoSQL db and JavaBeans
- UI-path RPA
- Agile development methodology
- User-centered design UX/UI
As a person, we are looking for you to be a team player with the ability to keep several things in the air. You have a service-oriented approach and good communication skills. You have the ability to think long-term and analytically to translate complex problems into innovative solutions. You are easy to work with and have the ability to inspire those around you.
A B license is not required, but is considered an advantage as the position may sometimes involve travel to other businesses in the local area.
