The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. JOB DESCRIPTION. As a Land Surveyor, in your role as representative of the municipality's land holdings, you will participate in the municipality's major development projects and represent the municipality in collaboration with property owners, developers and other stakeholders throughout the entire community building process - from idea and planning to implementation and ready-to-build land. You will be part of the spatial planning unit and closest to the working group for land and development. In this role, you will work on many exciting tasks. The work involves coordinating and in some cases leading projects related to the municipality's land holdings and the community building process, with particular responsibility for the municipality's land surveys. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the municipality's land supply, the purchase and sale of properties, managing leaseholds, negotiating and drawing up contracts and agreements for rights of use, rights of way, leases and land. You will represent the municipality in building permits, land surveying matters, development agreements and land allocations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have at least 3 years of university or college education in surveying or both surveying and real estate law. We prefer that you have experience as a surveyor, but new graduates are also of interest. It is an advantage if you have worked in a politically controlled organization. You are structured and meticulous, results-oriented, and you are good at networking and making contacts. You can express yourself well in speech and writing. You should be a team player, but also have the ability to work independently and be results-oriented. As a member of the Physical Planning Unit, you should appreciate a fast pace and be able to manage several parallel processes. You should also enjoy working in a team and mainly in the workplace. A B driving license is a requirement. OTHER Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Usually Swedish citizenship is required. A security check with a register check will then be carried out before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
