The Central Reception for New Arrivals (CMN) is tasked with receiving and conducting an initial assessment of the learning needs of newly arrived children and students. Your workplace will include various school units and different types of schools where children and students are enrolled. Your teaching will take place in the form of in-person instruction. Upon hiring, you will receive an orientation regarding your job responsibilities. You’ll receive ongoing support in your professional role through various support functions at the workplace. QUALIFICATIONS We prefer that you are a certified teacher with a Swedish teaching degree or that you have a documented foreign teaching degree. If you lack a teaching degree but can demonstrate that you have another relevant university degree, that may be sufficient.  It is advantageous if you have work experience in the Swedish school system and are familiar with the Education Act and the curricula for the various school types. We therefore expect you to share these core values and be able to put them into practice in both word and deed. You can adapt and vary your teaching methods. You are a strong leader in the classroom and can build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and school administrators. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. You are flexible, a team player, and self-reliant. You are open to new ideas and approaches and are committed to continuously developing your teaching with a focus on learning. Working as a native language teacher will provide you with rich opportunities to interact with newly arrived and multilingual children and youth, and your efforts will make a difference. Employment Type: Fixed-term position. Duration: Start date: As agreed; End date: December 23, 2026. The position is fixed-term for the 2026–2027 school year. We offer a 40-hour-per-week position with flexible hours. The employment rate is 15%. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
