The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. The Central Reception for Newcomers, CMN, is tasked with receiving and conducting an initial survey of newly arrived children and students' learning. CMN is also responsible for coordinating mother tongue teaching and study guidance, as well as introductory classes for newly arrived pupils in years 1-9. WORK TASKS You will work as a Mother Tongue Teacher/Study Tutor at our Introduction Class at Sanden for newly arrived students. Examples of tasks are picking up and dropping off at the bus stop, break activities, supporting students in lessons, supporting students in digital resources in MS365, being generally helpful to students and educators. Upon recruitment, you will receive an introduction to your duties. You will receive ongoing support in your professional role through various support functions in the workplace. The position is a fixed-term employment 50-55% mornings during spring semester-26. QUALIFICATIONS We prefer that you are a licensed teacher with a Swedish teaching degree or that you have a documented foreign teacher education. If you do not have a teaching degree but can show that you have another suitable university education, it may be sufficient or other meritorious education. You have very good knowledge of Swedish equivalent to Swedish 3/Swedish as a second language 3 or Swedish B/Swedish as a second language B. It is an advantage if you have work experience from the Swedish school system and are familiar with the Swedish Education Act and the curricula for the different school types. We therefore expect you to share the core values and be able to realize them in word and deed. It is also an advantage if you have digital skills in MS365. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. You are flexible, collaborative and independent. The work as a resource teacher will give you rich opportunities to meet newly arrived students and your effort makes a difference. The position is temporary VT-26 and 50-55%. We apply vacation service with flexible hours. The position will be filled under the conditions that the need exists. OTHER INFORMATION Please attach a teacher's license or diploma.
