Your welcome and treatment are crucial to the museum visitor's experience. You answer questions about our exhibitions, the museum's subject area and provide information about the museum's activities: in person, on the phone or digitally. You will staff the entrance, ticket office and shop, conduct public tours and visitor surveys as needed. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of exhibitions and public areas and respond to alarms and emergencies. The work also includes the preparation, implementation and restoration of room rental and program activities. You will provide updates on the museum's social media. You will also register objects and art in the museum's collection. You manage the operation of the museum's café and shop, including café chores and purchases for the café and shop. Working hours are scheduled and involve regular weekend work.
