The Labor Market and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality’s residents. The student health team consists of a special education teacher, a school speech-language pathologist, a college and career counselor, a school counselor, and a school nurse. Brönja School also has a safety team consisting of a safety coordinator and a safety resource, who work actively to build relationships, foster a sense of safety, and ensure a peaceful learning environment for our students. Our focus areas are increased goal achievement through higher student attendance, as well as strengthened reading and writing skills across all school subjects. You will be part of the seventh-grade team, and teaching will be your primary responsibility. You will also serve as the homeroom teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you will create the best conditions for students to thrive, feel at home, and feel safe.  The position is primarily based at Brönjaskolan, but may also include one day at another school. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach music in grades 7–9.  Additional subject qualifications are a plus. We want you to be open to varied teaching methods, collaboration, and school development. Additionally, you have strong pedagogical insights and are well-versed in the school’s governing documents and systematic quality assurance efforts. Your pedagogical and social skills make it easy for you to connect with people, and you are therefore also skilled at creating positive learning environments and conveying your knowledge to our students. You are comfortable using computers as a tool in educational activities. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
