The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will work as a mother tongue teacher in primary schools. Your workplace will be different school units and different types of schools where children and pupils are present. Your teaching will be in the form of face-to-face teaching. Alternatively, distance learning may be an option. On recruitment, you will receive an introduction to your duties. You will receive ongoing support in your professional role through various support functions in the workplace. QUALIFICATIONS We prefer that you are a licensed teacher with a Swedish teaching degree or that you have a documented foreign teacher education. If you do not have a teaching degree but can show that you have another suitable university education, it can go a long way. You have very good knowledge of Swedish equivalent to Swedish 3/Swedish as a second language 3 or Swedish B/Swedish as a second language B. It is an advantage if you have work experience from the Swedish school system and are familiar with the Swedish Education Act and the curricula for the different school types. We therefore expect you to share the core values and be able to realize them in word and deed. You can adapt and vary your teaching. You are a good leader in the classroom and can build trusting relationships with students, colleagues and management. It is also an advantage if you have digital knowledge and skills so that you can conduct mother tongue teaching via remote. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
