Garni's short-term accommodation is for users who, for various reasons, cannot stay at home, for example in connection with discharge from hospital for rehabilitation, relief/alternative care, palliative care, etc. The work at the short-term home is varied, stimulating and developing as we face new and exciting challenges every day.

WORK TASKS
You contribute with your specific skills to increase the individual's independence and participation in everyday activities. The tasks are varied and include teamwork, cognitive assessments, rehabilitation, ADL, activity assessments, prescribing, fitting of assistive devices, supervision and training for nursing staff.
As a short-term occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to meet patients from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from cognitive difficulties to physical limitations, and carry out a wide range of occupational therapy interventions. You will work well as part of a team with other staff in the short-term care home and be flexible as needs or plans may change quickly.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience but not a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience in elderly care and dementia care. As a person, you are confident in your professional role and have good self-awareness. You are good at structuring your work and driving your own processes forward.
You are good at making and maintaining contacts and enjoy working independently as well as in a team.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
A B driving license is required.
