The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. The main task of Property Management is to provide cost-effective and operationally efficient premises for municipal operations on behalf of the Property Board. The administration must provide municipal operations with service in property matters and coordinate the municipality's premises planning. In addition, the administration offers services in the form of cleaning and janitorial services to other municipal administrations. The operations unit is responsible for maintenance, supervision and care in and around the municipality's properties in the form of repairs, exterior care, etc. We are a small organization and thus have short decision-making paths where you get great confidence and personal responsibility. WORK TASKS We are now looking for an operations technician for the Property Department where you will work in one of four operating areas. The operating technicians' tasks are to ensure that the municipal properties are maintained and managed in a safe, economical and energy-efficient manner. They must also ensure that our tenants have a good indoor climate, both in terms of temperature and access to good indoor air. You may also be required to perform caretaker duties during peak periods and absences. Standby duty is included in the service. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with post-secondary education as an operating technician in real estate or you have documented experience that is considered equivalent. Good experience of working with either control and regulation technology, HVAC technology or cooling technology is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience of working with bath water treatment, IT systems for properties, for example alarms or communication. Computer skills and a B driving license are a requirement. Being able to work alone as well as in a group is a prerequisite for being able to do a good job, initiative, structure in the work are additional qualities that we are looking for. We are looking for you who like to work with others but also to perform your tasks independently. You have a good sense of service and a desire to meet customer needs. Very great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities, such as responsibility, ability to cooperate, work equally well with others in teams as independently. OTHER Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Usually Swedish citizenship is required. A security check with a register check will then be carried out before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
