Fritidsbanken Boden is now looking for part-time employees who want to help provide excellent service to our visitors while promoting the joy of movement, outdoor recreation, and sustainability. Fritidsbanken is like a library for sports and outdoor equipment. With us, anyone can borrow equipment for free for up to 14 days. Through reuse and accessibility, we create opportunities for more people to lead active lives and discover the joy of sports and outdoor activities. 2 position(s). JOB DUTIES As an hourly employee at Fritidsbanken Boden, you’ll work as needed in our operations. Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening shifts and occasional weekend work throughout the year may occur in connection with activities, programs, and events. The greatest need for hourly employees is during the period from December through April, which is Fritidsbanken’s peak season. You will assist with day-to-day operations and help ensure our visitors receive professional and welcoming service. Job responsibilities include, among other things: • Lending out sports and outdoor equipment and handling returned equipment • Providing service, information, and guidance to visitors • Registration and administration in the facility’s lending system • Maintaining the inventory, including cleaning, inspecting, and performing simple repairs on equipment • Ensuring order and organization in the store, workshop, and storage area • Participating in activities, school visits, events, and other programs QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an interest in leisure, sports, and community organizations who enjoys interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and of all ages. For this position, you must: • Have strong verbal communication skills in Swedish and English • Be computer literate • Be able to work independently and take initiative It is a plus if you: • Have knowledge of additional languages • Have experience working in customer service roles • Have experience working with children and young people • Have knowledge of or an interest in sports and outdoor equipment Personal Qualities: We place great emphasis on personal fit.
