The tasks are varied, sometimes challenging but always meaningful. Our own supervisor provides a safe introduction for those who are new as well as close guidance in everyday life for those who feel more confident in their work. As placement officer for children & young people, you take over when a decision has been made about placement in a family home, sheltered accommodation, at HVB or SiS. You will be the child's own social secretary from placement matching to school enrollment, throughout the placement period up to discharge to home or own accommodation. The assignment involves close collaboration with social workers, family homes and children/young people, you will be responsible for follow-ups, considerations/re-examinations and any preliminary assessments/investigations during the placement period. Your work will also involve close collaboration with the child's families and networks, school and healthcare contacts. QUALIFICATIONS Regardless of who you are and what knowledge you bring, we are convinced that you will fit in and contribute important skills to the team. You must of course have a degree in sociology and a desire to support people in vulnerable situations, but we will solve the rest together.
