We are now looking for a Procurement Officer for the Finance Department of the Municipal Management Administration. The department has overall responsibility for developing, leading and coordinating the municipality's strategic work in the areas of purchasing and procurement, business management and finance. Other tasks include providing advice, support and service to politicians, managers and others. In the municipality, the administrative processes are centralized and the support in the field of purchasing and procurement is therefore gathered with us in the finance department.
You will be part of a unit with a total of seven procurement officers, a contract controller and a purchasing and procurement manager. You will work closely with other procurement officers and also have close contact with the municipality's other activities and companies.
WORK TASKS
As a procurement officer in Boden municipality, you will carry out municipality-wide procurements but also procurements for the municipal companies. You are responsible for the implementation of the procurement from the start of the assignment to the signing of the contract in a businesslike and legally correct manner. You will work on several procurements at the same time and support the businesses throughout the procurement process.
Other important tasks include contributing to business development, disseminating knowledge, providing advice and support, and acting as business support. You are also expected to actively participate in the business development work regarding common processes, working methods and an increased focus on better business. The assignment also includes ongoing communication and training activities in the field of purchasing and you will have many external and internal contacts with suppliers, customers and partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this role you will need:
- A post-secondary education in procurement/purchasing, economics, law or a field relevant to the position or equivalent work experience and education deemed equivalent by the employer.
- You have a good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and an Office package.

As a person, you enjoy working at a fast pace and with several procurements in parallel. You are structured, solution-oriented, committed and professional. As the work involves many contacts within and outside the organization, it is important that you are service-oriented, trustworthy and create good relationships, as well as having a good ability to take a holistic perspective and see the long-term importance of the work. You are flexible and able to adapt and reprioritize your work according to the needs of the business.
You have good interpersonal skills and are willing to share your experience and expertise. Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish are important in this role. We attach great importance to your personal qualities.
