We have overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The school is located 6 km from central Boden beautifully situated in Heden next to a small forest that is frequently used by the school. The school has two classes in each year group and two after-school programs. For many years, the school has designed and upgraded the working environment for both students and teachers. The focus has been on creating space in the room, so that the work environment can serve as an extra educator for the students, be easy to change and at the same time increase job satisfaction for both students and educators. The outdoor environment, the spacious schoolyard, is also under constant development. The school has a well-functioning recess program with activities for the students. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The leisure educator/leisure center teacher is responsible for ensuring that teaching at the leisure center is carried out in accordance with the objectives of the curriculum. Each member of the team must promote the development and learning of all pupils and offer each pupil safe care. As a recreation teacher, you are expected to collaborate with other staff at the school, this collaboration is important to enrich the students' learning. You have competence in, among other things, democratic concepts and attitudes as well as social skills. By implementing these competencies in the daily work at the recreation center, you contribute to the development of the recreation center. Hedens skola's leisure center has clear, well-planned and structured activities. We work with different thematic areas based on the curriculum and use leisure pedagogical planning to develop our work. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you who are a trained leisure educator or teacher specializing in leisure homes, but you with other experience or education are also welcome to apply for the position. You who are a trained leisure educator / leisure center teacher are employed in the position of leisure educator and are responsible for teaching in the leisure center. If you have 60 credits in pedagogy or the equivalent, you will be employed in the position of resource teacher for after-school programs. As a leisure educator/leisure center teacher, you have good pedagogical insights into children's differences, you are also well acquainted with the school's and leisure center's governing documents and systematic quality work. We are looking for you who are clear and have good collaboration skills with a willingness to share your knowledge and experience. You have a good ability to create good relationships with colleagues, students and guardians. You take advantage of students' interests and develop them through both practical and theoretical work throughout the student's day. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
