The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainable in the long term from an ecological, social and economic point of view. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. The Water, Waste and Energy Department is divided into four units: Water Operations and Biogas, Waste and Customer Service, Reuse and Recycling, and Development and Support. Recycling is part of the Recycling and Material Recovery unit. Recycling mainly works with the collection and reception of recyclable materials. We sort, assess, evaluate and process all materials that are then exposed and sold as reuse in our store.
