The work of the administration is permeated by cooperation, holistic approach and efficient use of resources. The Public Works Administration consists of the following operational areas: Spatial Planning, Water, Sewerage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests and Real Estate, Environment and Construction. The Projects and Investment unit manages and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments. The Technical Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of water and sewage, waste management, parks and playgrounds, streets and traffic, public transport and transport services. The department also coordinates the municipality's company cars and heavy vehicles. The department consists of about 150 employees with a wide range of skills. The central workshop in Boden is now looking for employees. We perform service and repairs on the municipality's passenger cars and heavy vehicles and welding work. WORK TASKS The workshop consists of 7 employees where you will work with five other repairers and a car cleaner. In our forge, everything from ropes of various tools to new production of various parts / tools takes place. Welding work such as replacing bucket steel, various constructions, plow damage, etc. We also use a lathe and milling machine for some jobs. We service and repair about 280 vehicles, of which about 180 are biogas-powered. We also repair trucks and tractors and small machines. We troubleshoot electrical faults, install alcolocks and various electrical accessories. Troubleshooting with the help of a computer. You as a person are confident, positive and have a great sense that you are in a service profession. You are punctual, reliable and responsible and should be able to work well in a team. Working hours are daytime 7:00-16:00. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: - High school diploma or experience deemed equivalent by the employer. - At least 5 years of work experience - Welding skills, Mig, Pin and Gas - Good computer skills - Experience of working with welding and forging - B driving license Meritorious: - C driving license - Knowledge of vehicle ropes - Lathe skills OTHER Employment with us may involve placement in a security class.
