We have overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply and fulfills tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. We have three after-school departments where the children have their education before and after the school day. We have parallel classes in each year group with comparatively high staff density. Because don't you want one of the most important jobs in the world? WORK TASKS As a safety educator with us, you are part of the grades 4-6 team and the school's student welfare team. You will work closely with your colleagues. Together with the safety educator for years 1-3, you work actively to create safety and study peace in our activities by being out at breaks and building relationships with students and supporting them in their social interaction. The assignment includes promotional and preventive work where, if necessary, you go into classes and work with conflict management, group processes and social interaction. The assignment also includes investigating incidents and violations and providing feedback to students, guardians and colleagues. In some cases, you may be a mentor for some pupils and in this role you are responsible for communication with the pupils' guardians. The role includes being a good role model for our students and creating good conditions for learning both in the classroom and during breaks. During parts of the day, you also contribute to the after-school program. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a trained behavioral scientist / social worker or social educator. You have experience of working with children and young people and an interest in physical activity and movement. It is an advantage if you have experience as a leader in association life.
