The school has a preparatory class for newly arrived students, an adapted primary school and ISB - International School of Boden. We are organized in four teams, each with a special education teacher who is also the team leader. Skilled educators work here in a strong sharing culture with a common goal: for each student to develop as far as possible. We have a well-developed student health team consisting of the principal, deputy principals, special educators, school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist and study and career counselors. In addition, we have a security team with two security coordinators and several security resources who work actively to create relationships and security during breaks, in corridors and in our student community. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a safety resource, you are a present and relationship-building adult in the students' everyday lives and work in the school's common areas. There you build positive relationships with students, contribute to safety and study peace and work preventively by reducing the risk of conflict and promoting a good climate. You will support pupils in social situations and work closely with teachers in the security team. In case of high sickness absence, you are also prepared to step in and teach. In this role, you are an important part of the school's work to increase students' attendance and well-being at school. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are confident, positive and responsible and who find it easy to establish good contact with young people. You are a good role model and work in a solution-focused way while having good collaboration skills. It is an advantage if you have experience of working with children and young people, for example in schools, associations or other youth activities.
