The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The tasks include working preventively and promotionally from a health perspective, but also providing support for students in difficulty. You will work in close collaboration with students, guardians, teachers and school management. As a school counselor, you will work with groups as well as with individual students, and collaboration with external actors is also part of the assignment. You will be an expert in the school regarding social work and social legislation. You will largely collaborate with special educators, school nurses and school psychologists within the Central Student Health Service. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a social work degree and experience in the profession. Experience of working in student health and/or with children and young people is an advantage. For the role of school counselor, it is important that you are independent, have a structured approach and can plan and prioritize among many different tasks. You have a good ability to cooperate and have your own drive in creating relationships at school. You see opportunities and have a positive view of people.
