The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. Brönjaskolan also has a security team consisting of security coordinators and security resources, who work actively to create relationships, security and study peace for our students. JOB DUTIES We are looking for you who want to work as a school psychologist / special educator with us for one year, with the possibility of extending for another six months. As a school psychologist / special educator, you work primarily to create conditions for participation, accessibility and inclusion for our students. You identify which interventions should be implemented, and work preventively to identify and remove obstacles in the students' various learning environments. You will collaborate with all school staff to keep them updated on developments and actions that may need to be taken. You will work in a team with the Brönja School's special needs teacher. In close collaboration with the school management, the work teams and the school's student health team, you drive the school's student health work forward. You have an open mind and are constantly looking for new approaches to all problems you encounter. The position is a temporary position during parental leave. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you who have a special education degree or speech therapy education with experience of working in school. Previous experience of working as a school speech therapist / special educator and teacher in secondary school is an advantage. We want you to be open to varied working methods, collaboration and school development. In addition, you have good pedagogical insights and are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. Your pedagogical and social skills make you easy to connect with people and you are therefore also good at communicating your knowledge to our students.
