The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school.

The Labor Market and Education Administration is now looking for a security officer to coordinate, develop and implement the systematic work in security, civil preparedness and information security. It is an exciting job where you will work together with all the administration's activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a security officer at the Employment and Education Administration, you support our operations in the operational security work, based on both legal requirements and local policy documents that you also help to develop. The role covers a wide range of safety and security issues, such as physical security, systematic fire protection work, information security, crisis preparedness and insurance issues. The assignment includes working systematically to ensure that operations achieve both statutory requirements and safety and security objectives. You do this by initiating and driving security work, providing support to managers and employees, and helping to raise awareness of security issues in the organization.
In addition to working with the administration's operations, you will also work closely with and be supported by security officers in other administrations in Boden municipality and with employees in the Democracy, Communication and Security department who work across the municipality on security issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in the field of security, crisis preparedness or equivalent education that is considered equivalent. You have experience of risk and/or security and/or information security work, preferably in public administration.
To succeed in the role, you should have a good ability to lead and drive processes linked to security and safety work in a structured way. You are adaptable to changing circumstances, stable and calm even in stressful situations. Furthermore, you take initiative, you plan, organize and prioritize your work and you make sure to achieve results. You have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and a basic knowledge of English.

The position is subject to security classification according to statutory requirements (2018:585), which means that a background check, security clearance and register check are carried out before employment.
