Customers come to the recycling centers (ÅVC) to leave what they do not want anymore. Encouraging reuse reduces the amount of waste and the need for new products, saving natural resources and energy. What cannot be reused should be sorted correctly for the best possible recycling. As an employee at ÅVC, you have an important role in the customer meeting and contribute to a better environment and a higher level of service. In Boden municipality, we receive large amounts of food waste that is recycled into biogas. The first step is to make a slurry of the food waste at Brännkläppen, which is then transported to the biogas plant. 2 location(s). WORK TASKS We are looking for 2 vacation substitutes for the Recycling Center Brännkläppen in Boden municipality. The vacation substitutes are 6-7 weeks, starting June 29, week 27. The work is varied and involves managing the daily operations in an efficient, safe and environmentally friendly way. The customer meeting is in focus, and you inform and provide guidance on waste management to the municipality's citizens. We work to prevent waste and encourage recycling. The work includes reception control of hazardous waste, sorting, reloading and handling of bins. It can be physically demanding and mostly takes place outdoors. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who speak Swedish and can make yourself understood in English. Requirement for the position is a B-driving license. As the work involves a lot of customer contact, we are looking for people who are social, service-oriented and have great social skills. You easily connect with customers on the ramp, and you are driven by creating added value for customers and feel responsible for building trust. You are a good communicator and guide, and you treat everyone well with patience, both residents and colleagues. You are committed, flexible, orderly and aware of quality and responsibility.
