We warmly welcome your application! Case management and exercise of official authority in accordance with applicable legislation and delegation. The primary responsibilities include investigating, assessing, and making decisions regarding social assistance under the Social Services Act within the areas of home care and senior housing. QUALIFICATIONS A degree in social work or a college degree with a focus on social care, or another college degree deemed equivalent. Experience exercising official authority in social work is a plus. A Class B driver’s license is required for this position. Qualities we are looking for in you: The job requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You are a good team player, have a responsive approach, and communicate clearly and effectively. In your role as a public official, you must be able to make objective and factual assessments and make clear decisions in accordance with applicable regulations and legal precedents.
