The close collaboration among all teams contributes to a safe and stimulating work environment for employees.   On the Family Team, social workers specialize in income support, foster care, family law/parenting, substance abuse/addiction/mental health, and children and youth, with the goal of creating a functional whole for the families we serve. JOB DESCRIPTION At Team Family, Children & Youth, we are a group of social workers of various ages and with diverse professional backgrounds who work together to form a team where we complement the knowledge of our more experienced colleagues with the fresh perspectives of those with less experience.  Every cog is equally important in our system as we work to assess the situations of children and youth and to approve and follow up on various forms of support. The tasks are varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful. Our in-house supervisor provides a supportive introduction for newcomers, as well as close guidance in day-to-day work for those who feel more confident on the job.
