The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply, and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. Together, we focus on constantly improving our operations. Fagernäs school is an elementary school with about 150 students from preschool class up to grade 6. The school, which was built in 1953, is located about 2km from the center of Boden. The school has two after-school departments, Örtagården and Solgården. A high proportion of the school's pupils have a leisure place. In our large schoolyard there are places for play and activity. We have playground equipment, a football pitch (grass and gravel), a basketball court, a gaga rink and large open spaces for play and movement. In the winter, there is a rinsed skating rink, raised ski tracks and large snow hills. In the immediate area there are natural areas suitable for excursions and outdoor activities all year round. WORK TASKS We are looking for you who want to work with us at Fagernäs school as a special needs teacher. As a special needs teacher at Fagernäs School, you work both preventively and remeditively with a focus on language, writing and reading development, neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or mathematics development for students and student groups. This means that you work with critically reviewing and applying methods to assess student development and adapting working methods based on student needs. You are also responsible for mapping and developing the Swedish language of pupils whose mother tongue is not Swedish. As a special needs teacher, you participate in the school's local student health work. Together with the school's special needs teacher, you are responsible for proposing and designing extra adaptations, special support and other solutions so that all pupils develop as far as possible towards both the learning objectives and the other objectives of the governing documents. You work closely with the school's special needs teacher, quality developer, student health and principal. The position also includes surveys, educational development work, analysis work, supervision and coaching of colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a teacher and have a license / degree as a special teacher. We are looking for you who are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents. You are self-motivated, responsible, have good collaboration skills and see opportunities in each child's individual development. You have the ability to establish and maintain professional and trusting relationships with students, parents and colleagues. You are highly communicative and interactive, responsive and highly motivated to the teaching profession. You are cheerful, flexible and able to self-reflect and analyze. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. OTHER Please enclose a teaching certificate or diploma.
