The municipality of Boden has a vibrant community life and offers many opportunities for active leisure. Our facilities management unit within the Culture, Leisure, and Youth Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of sports facilities, jogging trails, and swimming areas.

JOB DUTIES
As a sports facility groundskeeper, you’ll be part of our groundskeeping unit responsible for the municipality’s sports facilities. The unit’s mission is to provide excellent service to everyone who uses our facilities.
Your duties will include the operation, upkeep, and maintenance of the facilities under our responsibility. The position also involves operating vehicles and machinery, such as ice machines and tractors, as well as performing repairs and maintenance on materials and equipment. Another important part of the role is building and maintaining good relationships with those who use the facilities.
These positions are based in the North/South Janitorial Unit and involve work at the ice rink, sports halls, and artificial turf fields. If necessary, you may also work at other facilities within our organization. We offer hourly positions as needed, with a start date in the fall or as agreed upon. The job involves evening and weekend work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• A high school diploma
• A Class B driver’s license
The following are considered a plus:
• A Class C driver’s license
• Experience operating a tractor
• Experience working with sports facilities or in club activities
• An interest in sports and community organizations
As a person, you are service-oriented, able to work independently, and responsible. You are helpful and comfortable with varied tasks and changing work environments. Ideally, you are hands-on and have a knack for repairs and maintenance.
Employment type: Fixed-term position.
Duration: 3–6 months; start date: This fall or as agreed.
