Our caretaker unit within the Culture, Leisure and Youth Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of sports facilities, jogging tracks and bathing areas. We are now looking for a sports ground caretaker for a summer temporary position who wants to help keep our facilities in good condition and available for use throughout the summer. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a sports groundsman, you will be part of a caretaker unit responsible for municipal sports facilities. The caretaker unit's mission is to provide good service to everyone who operates in our facilities. The tasks include caring for and maintaining the parts we are responsible for and operating certain vehicles and machines. It includes carrying out repairs and maintenance of materials and machinery and establishing good relations with users of the facilities. The position is located within the Caretaker Unit South, which means working with sports halls and artificial grass pitches. If necessary, you can also work with other facilities within our operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: - High school diploma - B driving license It is an advantage if you have: - C driving license - Tractor experience - Experience of working with sports facilities or associations - Interest in sports and community activities As a person, you are service-oriented, can work independently and are responsible. You are helpful and comfortable with varied tasks and changing work environments. You are preferably practical and have an aptitude for repair and maintenance. The position is an hourly position if needed, starting immediately or by agreement. The work involves evening and weekend work.
