We are now looking for a team member for our student project, Talent Hub North, within the Relocation and Workforce Supply Unit, Labor Market and Learning. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a team member in the student project, you’ll work to build relationships between students and employers in Boden. The role is operational and relationship-building, with a focus on increasing interest in Boden as a place to live and work after graduation. The position is 30% (12 hours/week) and is particularly well-suited for those who are currently students and wish to work alongside their studies, or who have recently completed their studies and have a good understanding of student life and networks connected to Luleå University of Technology. The work involves a combination of on-site presence, coordination, and implementation of activities. Your responsibilities will include, among other things: · Representing Boden and local employers to students, primarily at LTU · Building and maintaining relationships with students and relevant academic programs · Participating in collaboration meetings between LTU and the business community · Planning and carrying out activities and events together with partners · Helping to match students’ skills with employers’ needs You will also handle some administrative tasks related to activities and events. The work is independent but carried out in close collaboration with the Relocation and Workforce Supply Unit as well as the municipality’s business development functions. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: · Good knowledge of Luleå University of Technology and its academic programs · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work independently and take initiative The following are considered a plus: - Experience working with events, projects, or coordination - Experience collaborating with students, educational institutions, or the business community - Good knowledge of Boden as a location Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is outgoing, curious, and skilled at making new connections. You work independently and in a structured manner, while also enjoying collaborating with others—for example, when planning and executing activities and events.
