The school also has a preparatory class for newly arrived pupils, an adapted primary school and a small unit for autistic pupils, as well as an international school ISB (International School of Boden). Stureskolan is organized into four teams, each of which has a special needs teacher attached to it, who is also the team leader. Our student health team consists of special educators, school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist and two study and vocational counselors in addition to the principal and deputy principals. We have a security team consisting of two security coordinators and security resources who work actively to create relationships and security during breaks in the school's corridors and in our student community. The tasks of a study and career counselor include planning the admission process and informing groups of students or parents about different choices. You will also provide support to teachers and other school staff in their study and career guidance efforts. You will also have individual counselling sessions with students, as well as arrange internships and organize students' practical work experience. You will interact and work closely with our other study and career counselors and the school's student health team. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you who are trained study and vocational counselors and we place great value on the fact that you also have a relational approach. It is an advantage if you enjoy working in a team and that you have previous experience of working with children and young people. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
