Nordpoolen is part of the Culture, Recreation, and Youth Department in the Municipality of Boden. As one of the municipality’s most visited facilities, we offer a wide range of activities for people of all ages. Our facilities include an adventure pool with water slides, hot tubs, a lap pool, and a relaxation area.

JOB DUTIES
As a pool attendant at Nordpoolen, you’ll have a varied role and play a key part in our operations. You’ll interact with visitors of all ages, collaborate with colleagues, and help create a welcoming and positive experience for our guests. The role involves active participation in daily operations while also taking responsibility for planning, coordination, and development in certain areas of the business.
Your main responsibilities:
• Lifeguarding, facility operations, and customer service
• Scheduling and coordinating daily operations
• Planning, coordinating, implementing, and developing swimming lessons and swim school programs
• Introducing, mentoring, and supporting new employees
• Coordinating and participating in training initiatives, such as CPR and lifesaving
• Contributing to operational development and improvement efforts
• Handling procedures, quality control, and administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Lifeguard certification or other training/experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field
• A valid Guldbojen certificate issued within the last six months
• Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Strong ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
• Strong teamwork skills and a clear, communicative approach to work
The following are considered a plus:
• CPR and lifesaving training
• Experience teaching swimming and running swim classes
• Experience with facility maintenance
• Experience with leadership, mentoring, or coordination
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft 365
