The Employment and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education and employment issues that affect our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Cultural School and the food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological part of student health in municipal preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, upper secondary school and adapted upper secondary school. The school has about 300 pupils, in two parallel classes from preschool to year 6. We have three after-school departments - Galaxen and Kometen and Stjärnans fritidshem. The proximity to the forest and nature contributes to the school's good opportunities for outdoor activities of various kinds.
