The Labor Market and Education Administration has overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality’s residents. The department is also responsible for the Culture School, school meals, and central student health services. JOB DESCRIPTION We’re looking for someone who is certified to teach one or more of the following subjects: Swedish, English, Social Studies, and Physical Education in grades 4–6. Teaching will be your primary responsibility. You’ll also serve as the homeroom teacher for a group of students, and in that role, you’ll create the best possible conditions for students to thrive, feel comfortable, and be safe. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach Swedish, English, Social Studies, and Physical Education in grades 4–6. Additional subject qualifications are a plus. We want you to be open to varied teaching methods, collaboration, and school development. In addition, you possess strong pedagogical insights and are well-versed in the school’s governing documents and systematic quality assurance processes. Your pedagogical and social skills enable you to connect easily with people, and you are therefore also skilled at conveying your knowledge to our students. You are comfortable using computers as a tool in educational activities. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Employment Type: Permanent position.
