We have overall responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality’s residents. The department is also responsible for the Culture School, food services, and student health. JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach Swedish as a second language or Swedish for grades 7–9, or at the high school level. Class sizes in adult education are often small, and instruction is always based on and tailored to students’ needs and prior knowledge. Working in adult education requires flexibility but also offers great opportunities to shape your own workday.  A large part of our communication with students takes place via a digital learning platform. We expect you to be comfortable with this and to be able to naturally incorporate digital learning resources into your teaching. The role includes teaching remotely, but may also involve teaching in a blended learning program for nursing assistants. We believe you are someone who sees the potential in every student and can help them achieve their goals through effective dialogue, relevant support, and formative feedback. Since we work with adults, a flexible approach is essential for success in this role. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach Swedish as a second language or Swedish for grades 7–9, or at the high school level. Previous experience teaching adults is a plus. Employment Type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: Fall 2026. Please attach your teaching license or diploma.
