Read more about what we offer at www.boden.se/jobbaiboden Torpgärdsskolan is located in a larger residential area about 5 km from the center of Boden, with its main catchment area - Bodsvedjan, Norrbyarna, Norra Svartbyn, Södra Svartbyn and Torpgärdan. The school has about 300 pupils, in two parallel classes from preschool to year 6. We have three after-school departments - Galaxen and Kometen and Stjärnans fritidshem. Torpgärdsskolan has a large schoolyard with both forest and grass areas that give students a large area to play on. The proximity to the forest and nature contributes to the school's good opportunities for outdoor activities of various kinds. At Torpgärdsskolan we encourage active breaks as well as brain breaks and movement challenges during the school day. You will work closely with other teachers in the school and in the after-school program. In addition to this, you will: - be a mentor in a class - be responsible for teaching math, physics, chemistry, biology, technology, English - be responsible for planning your teaching, implementing and assessing it, and documenting your work. - together with other teachers in the school, contribute to a positive and meaningful school day where knowledge development and social training are in focus QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach middle school mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, technology and English. Qualification in other subjects is an advantage. Experience is an advantage. We expect you to be able to work independently, have good interpersonal skills and be responsible and committed. You have a positive and professional approach towards students, parents and colleagues. You have good leadership skills with a clear lesson structure, clear expectations and you build good relationships. We attach great importance to a student-centered approach and personal suitability.
