Read more about what we offer at www.boden.se/jobbaiboden Brönjaskolan is a 7-9 school in Sävast, seven kilometers outside Boden center, with about 250 students. Brönjaskolan has three teams organized by grade and a well-developed and unit-anchored student health. The student health team consists of a special education teacher, school psychologist, study and vocational counselor, school counselor and school nurse. Brönjaskolan also has a security team consisting of security coordinators and security resources, who work actively to create relationships, security and study peace for our students. Our focus areas are goal achievement, student attendance and literacy development. We have a good outdoor environment with a basketball court, soccer field and sports hall as well as the forest on the doorstep. We are now looking for a replacement for a staff member who is going on parental leave in January 2026, and plans to be on leave for at least 12 months. JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for you who want to teach so and Swedish in years 7-9. Teaching will be your main task. You also have the role of contact teacher for a group of students and in that role you create the best conditions for students to develop, thrive and feel safe. You are part of work teams and subject teams, where you together take responsibility for developing the school and creating good conditions for learning. The position is temporary for one year, due to parental leave. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you who are trained and licensed teachers in so and Swedish. Also you who have other educational skills or qualifications in so and Swedish are welcome with your application. We want you to be open to varied working methods, collaboration and school development. In addition, you have good pedagogical insights and are well familiar with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. Your pedagogical and social skills make you easy to connect with people and you are therefore also good at creating good learning environments, and communicating your knowledge to our students. You have good experience of working with computers as a tool in educational activities. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
