We handle fire alarms, burglar alarms, security alarms, personal alarms and on-call and emergency services. Robust technology provides high capacity for many connections and enables new ways of working. We cooperate with other municipal alarm centers in the country and can also operate during social disturbances and crises. The Safety and Security Center (TSC) is located at the Rescue Service in Boden. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As Head of Unit for the Safety and Security Center, you have overall responsibility for managing, developing and following up the unit's activities. You are responsible for, among other things: - Strategic development of the alarm center services, processes and technical systems. - Operational responsibility for ensuring that the alarm reception and monitoring function around the clock with high quality. - Personnel and work environment responsibility for the unit, including staffing, scheduling, skills development and work environment management. - Collaboration with internal and external actors such as emergency services, home care, property management, SOS Alarm, cooperating municipalities and technical suppliers. - Quality and safety work, including risk analysis, deviation management and follow-up of procedures. - System management of central alarm and monitoring systems. - Participation in the municipality's crisis preparedness, blue light cooperation and development of total defense. QUALIFICATIONS For this role we are looking for you who have: - Have a relevant academic degree in college/university, at least 180 HP, or other education in combination with a few years of management experience that the employer considers equivalent. - Experience of roles in senior management, preferably in essential operations and/or 24-hour operations. - Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. - Good technical understanding and ability to manage technical systems linked to alarms, operational alarms, security alarms or monitoring. - Ability to work in a structured manner with procedures, quality work and follow-up. We see it as a merit if you: - Experience of working in an alarm center, security operations, surveillance environment, blue light operations or other 24-hour operations. - Work experience in the security industry or security-related profession. Personal competences: You are a confident and clear leader who creates structure, sets direction and follows up. You make informed decisions even under time pressure and take responsibility for the outcome. With a coaching and responsive approach, you build trust, collaborate well and contribute to a good working environment. You have good analytical skills, see patterns and make wise priorities based on risk and consequence. You are structured, discerning and have a high level of integrity with a focus on quality and compliance. Furthermore, you communicate clearly and respectfully, even in stressful situations.
