We are looking for a Youth Coach for the meeting place Hörnet in central Boden and you will work in a youth activity in a municipality where faith in the future and collaboration are at the center. The Culture, Leisure and Youth Department is also responsible for libraries, sports facilities, museums, bathhouses and the Fritidsbank. The department is divided into 4 areas; Staff, Leisure and Youth, Culture Unit and Nordpoolen. DUTIES AND TASKS Your duties will include the following: - Creating conditions for young people - Creating inclusive activities that promote community, creativity, culture and health - Meeting and supporting young people in their personal development and social context - Collaborate with young people to design activities based on their needs and interests - The work also includes cleaning, shopping and café activities. - Participate in the municipality's youth work and development projects and collaborate with schools, social services, police, associations and other actors around young people's leisure and well-being. Evening and weekend work may be required. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: - Leisure leader/coach training, or other training combined with experience that the employer considers equivalent. - You have experience of working with children and young people or other target groups in leisure activities, associations, etc. - You are good at expressing yourself in both speech and writing, both Swedish and English. - You have basic computer skills You are a confident and positive role model who can easily build good relationships, especially with children and young people. You have the ability to engage and involve young people in the activities and thus give them the opportunity to influence. You are curious, open to change and have a good eye for identifying needs, wishes and trends, both in the local area and in a larger, global perspective. In addition, you have an interest and ability to continuously evaluate and reflect on both your own and your colleagues' work in relation to the mission of the organization.
